Who do I pass this data on to?

I can pass on your data to my service providers in order to operate my services (e.g. storage of data via third-party hosting services, provision of technical support, etc.).

I would like to point out that all content or data that you provide in these areas can be read, recorded and used by other people. If you upload content to my digital assets or otherwise make it available as part of the use of a service, you do so at your own risk. I cannot control the actions of other users or members of the public with access to your data or content. You acknowledge and confirm that copies of your data can still be accessed by third parties even after they have been deleted on cached and archived pages or after a copy / storage of your content has been made.

How do I protect the data?

The hosting service for my digital assets provides me with the online platform through which I can offer you my services. Your data can be stored via my hosting provider's data storage, databases and general applications. It stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall and offers secure HTTPS access to most areas of its services.

 

All payment options offered by me and my hosting provider for my digital assets comply with the regulations of the PCI-DSS (data security standard of the credit card industry) of the PCI Security Standards Council. This is a collaboration between brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help to ensure the secure handling of credit card data (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) by my shop and the service providers.

 

Regardless of the measures and efforts taken by me and my hosting provider, I cannot and will not guarantee absolute protection or absolute security of the data that you upload, publish or otherwise pass on to me or others.

For this reason, I would like to ask you to set secure passwords and, if possible, not to transmit confidential information to myself or others, the disclosure of which, in your opinion, could cause you significant or lasting damage. Since e-mail and instant messaging are not considered secure forms of communication, I also ask you not to pass on any confidential information via one of these communication channels.

How do I deal with minors?

The services are not intended for users who have not yet reached the legal age of majority. I will not knowingly collect data from children. If you are under the age of majority, you should not download or use the Services or provide any information to me.

 

I reserve the right to request proof of age at any time so that I can verify that minors are using my services. In the event that I become aware that a minor is using my services, I can prohibit these users from accessing my services and block them, and I can delete all data stored by us about this user. In the course of providing the services, I can transfer data across borders to affiliated companies or other third parties and from your country / legal system to other countries / legal systems worldwide. By using the services, you consent to the transfer of your data outside of the EEA.

I can revise this data protection guideline from time to time at my own discretion; the version published on the website is always up-to-date (see information on the "status"). I ask you to check this data protection guideline regularly for changes. In the event of significant changes, I will publish a notice on my website. If you continue to use the services after being notified of changes on my website, this is considered to be your confirmation and consent to the changes to the privacy policy and your consent to be bound by the terms of these changes.
